Boat Tour Itinerary: 3 of Tayrona's Best Beaches

8:30 am: Departure by boat from Santa Marta Marina

The Tayrona Park Boat Tour is an experience designed for travelers to discover three of Santa Marta's most beautiful and iconic beaches in a single day. The adventure begins at the Santa Marta Marina, where the guide meets the group, shares safety rules, and details the sea route to Tayrona National Natural Park.

Before setting sail, the guide ensures all participants are wearing their life jackets correctly and provides important tips for protecting cameras, phones, and personal items during the trip. This brief preparation ensures a comfortable and safe journey for everyone.

The sea crossing to Cinto Bay through open water takes approximately 1 hour, though this may vary depending on weather and wave conditions. As the boat moves along the coast, travelers enjoy stunning views of the Caribbean shoreline and the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, creating an unforgettable start to a day full of nature and adventure.

10:00 am: Arrival at Cinto Beach

The tour's first stop is Cinto Beach, where travelers find an extraordinary natural setting: a quiet bay with crystal-clear waters and white sand, surrounded by jungle and absolute peace. For about 2 hours, tourists can enjoy short walks to the Cinto estuary, explore its most picturesque corners, and relax on one of Tayrona Park's most private and least crowded beaches.

After enjoying Cinto, tourists are taken to Cristal Beach, one of Tayrona's most beautiful beaches, where lunch will be served.

12:30 pm: Arrival at Cristal Beach and Caribbean lunch

Around noon, the group heads to Cristal Beach, one of Tayrona Park's most famous beaches thanks to its transparent waters and excellent underwater visibility. Upon arrival, travelers will enjoy a delicious lunch by the sea in a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature.

After eating, there will be time to swim in the calm waters, rest under the shade of the trees, and go snorkeling—ideal for spotting colorful fish and coral reefs near the shore.

Later, around 3:00 pm, the group will board the boat again to head to the third and final beach of the day: Concha Bay.

4:00 pm: Arrival at Concha Bay, the final beach of the tour

This bay is characterized by its calm sea, wide stretch of white sand, and perfect atmosphere for relaxing. It is the ideal place to rest, take a final swim, and enjoy the Caribbean landscape before heading back to Santa Marta.

During the return to Santa Marta Marina, you can watch the sunset while taking photos of the natural scenery.

5:00 pm: Arrival at Santa Marta Marina

After enjoying the three-beach Tayrona Park tour, the boat returns from Concha Bay to the city, ending the trip at the Santa Marta Marina around 5:00 pm. The experience concludes here, making it easy for travelers to return to their accommodation or continue exploring Santa Marta's Historic Center.
